7th - 16th August 2009 - Annual Summer Camp
Summer is at the door and the group will start preparing for the Annual Summer camp. This year the dates of the camping will be from the 7th till the 16th August 2009. The camp will be held in the usual place in St.Thomas Bay, M'Scala. The campsite will be set up between the 31st of July and the 2nd of August. During these days the Scouts and Ventures together with all the Leaders and helpers will set up the campsite. Between the 2nd and the 6th of August the campsite will be rented to the South District Guides movement.
The Cub Scouts will have their camping between the 6th and the 9th of August where they will be picked up by their parents during the get together. The Scout's and Venture's camp will be between the 7th and the 16th of August. While appreciating all the help provided by the parents to set up and dismantle the campsite we would like your co-operation regarding not to visit very frequently your child during the camp. We know you miss them very much. but a few days without seeing them won't do any harm to no-one and will help us run the camp more smoothly. Everyone get ready for a fun filled camping.....

3rd May 2009 - Annual Parade
The Annual Parade took place in Valletta where over 3,200 scouts from all over the island took part in a grand parade all over the capital city's streets. Our group took part at it's full providing a smart and precise performance by the band and the rest of the group. Surely the marching training and rehersals where rewarded by the group's perfomance at the parade. Well done to everyone.
Another activity held during May was the open day at the HeadQuarters where visitors could see where our group meets. A great effort was made by a few members where they restored the HQ to it's originality. A large amount of paint and cement where removed, a whole new, safer electrical system was installed and maintenance was done on many parts of the HQ.
